Lequin designed and delivered an integrated programme of team coaching and one-to-one executive coaching for senior leaders within the department. The programme combined systems-based team coaching with individual leadership development to help shift both collective behaviours and individual mindsets.
Rather than treating the issue as a traditional team building exercise, Lequin approached the work as purposeful team coaching, focused on creating meaningful behavioural and cultural change. The team was encouraged to step back from rivalry and conflict and view the wider system objectively, helping individuals understand both the needs of the team and the impact of their own behaviours within it.
Alongside the team interventions, leaders received one-to-one coaching support to work on personal development areas, leadership behaviours and individual action points identified during the team sessions. This combination of collective and individual development created greater accountability, openness and alignment across the group.
